A typical Friday night for a fourteen year old girl and I was headed to mall with my best friend Kim. My friend Kim and I get to the mall where she was going to meet her boyfriend Tod. So Kim and I were hanging out shopping, talking girl talk and just walking around waiting for Tod to come.
Then we finally met up with him and he tells us that he brought some friends with him so we went to meet them. On the way we ran into two girls we knew from school and they were with two of Tod friends who they just happened to have met walking through the mall. So everyone was pretty much coupled up, except me.
After talking and walking around some more we headed to the arcade. So he came up to me and asked "Am I supposed to talk to you," meaning was he supposed to be trying to hook up with me.
Now I took one look at this boy and I thought "Oh God no! He was the typical bad boy and I was the girl next door, needless to say we were complete opposites of each other.
Also at that point in my life I was just a little superficial and looks meant everything to me. Now I and this boy never really spoke another word to each other. But Kim being my best friend filled me in on all she knew about him from Tod.
